发明名称 METHOD FOR DETECTION OF ADDITIONAL DIGITAL INFORMATION IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CHANNEL WHICH USES PULSE-CODE MODULATION
摘要 FIELD: communication devices, in particular, data transmission through digital communication channels using pulse- code modulation and channel time share. SUBSTANCE: method involves use of modems, which transmits data with low transmission rate by means of analog signals through digital communication channels which use pulse-code modulation and channel time share, and devices which detects digital data with high rate in digital communication channel instead of main analog channel. Digital communication channel using pulse-code modulation receives information from analog user or information from digital user with high transmission rate. Latter information is entered in addition to information from analog user so that digital information channel using pulse-code modulation transmits both information from analog user and additional digital information from digital user. Such compression is implemented by means of sending digital information in pauses between transmission of analog information without change in method for information transmission in given transmission system. Said additional digital information is detected from pauses of analog information in digital communication channel by means of additional control channel. This is achieved by specific periods of signal in digital communication channel during pauses of analog information transmission. Said periods are used for detection of additional control channel which provides exchange of receipts for readiness for information transmission or receiving from terminal devices or of other signals. Said additional control channel is generated only in digital communication channel in order to prevent use of additional control channel in position of control and interaction signals in analog information transmission in digital communication channel. Asynchronous processing mode between terminal devices and digital communication channel is compensated by insertion of combination of signals from additional control channel. Method provides possibility to compress data transmission in arbitrary communication channels without alternation in methods for information transmission which are implemented by corresponding data transmission system. It also provides transmission of additional digital information at rate of 64 kbps per channel and 1920 kbps for given data transmission system if all channels (30 channels are provided by described system) are compressed according to described method. Additional information for transmission can include computer data, data of computer local-area networks, terminals, commutation centers and so on, because such method provides possibility to implement arbitrary data protocols between terminal devices. EFFECT: increased information capacity, increased speed for transmission of additional digital information.
