Apparatus for measuring an angular speed

The system has a circuitry (9) to make the tuning fork (1) to vibrate at the angular speed, in response to an excitation signal (OSC). This mechanical vibration has a parasitic component and at least a useful component having an amplitude which represents the angular speed. The device has means to produce a electrical signal (DET), representing the mechanic vibration which includes the useful and parasitic components. The device includes a processor (23) which produces from the signal (DET), an analogue signal (S") whose amplitude only depends upon the useful component of the signal (DET). The parasitic component of the signal is eliminated.
