A method comprising the steps of: creating compartments (4) in an infusion bag (1) comprising two walls (2) and as many access tubes (3) as there are components in the desired solution, each compartment (4) being combined with at least one access tube (3), by heating the two bag walls (2) along the line of separation (5) and locally squeezing together the heated portions in the area of the desired separation (5); filling and sealing each compartment (4); placing the bag (1) in a sterilisation device in such a way that the separations (5) between the compartments (4) are above the liquid level in the corresponding compartments (4); sterilising the bag (1) and its contents; and removing the separations (5) to form the final solution. The infusion bag of the invention is especially designed for the solution prepared according to the above method.
