FIELD: filtering arrangements. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to arrangements for decanting and filtering electrolytes and may be used in various areas, including those dealing with aggressive, explosive, and inflammable liquids. The purpose is to simplify design, reduce its cost, and raise reliability of operation. Apparatus has: vacuum filter 1 consisting of upper chamber 2 and lower chamber for filtrate 3 separated with a net barrier 4 with filtering members 5; pipeline 16 for feeding liquid into upper chamber where float valve 17 is installed; compressed air line 13; adjusting valves 19; upright pipeline 8 in the form of cylindrical column, which is connected in its upper part through pipeline 9 with passive nozzle of ejector 11 and drain fitting 15 of vacuum filter 1, the lower part of column being inserted in opened tank 6 filled with filtered out liquid 7. Height of upright pipeline is determined by aspirating effort of ejector and density of a liquid being decanted. EFFECT: improved design. |
