<p>A sleeve (26) consisting of an air-permeable, liquid-tight flexible material such as a fabric made from braided plastic fibres, and used for injecting a polymerisable liquid material that becomes a resin for coating an uncoated portion, i.e. a joint (22) between two tubes. Air is flushed out of the sleeve (26) as it is filled, particularly as a result of the expansion of the resin foam produced by the polymerisation of the pressurised liquid material injected through an opening (40) in the sleeve.</p> |
