[Also in Division F1] In a rotary distributer-type fuel injection pump an inlet valve 16 is provided in the bore 11 and is closed by a spring 17 and by delivery pressure from the cylinder 26 which passes through a bore 19 in the valve. In the absence of delivery pressure, inlet pressure in the inlet 14 acts on face 18 of the valve to open it and allow fuel to flow into the cylinder 26.</p> |
