PURPOSE:To make a discharge lamp putting on device thin and small by interposing insulation boards between an inverter putting on circuit element of a circuit substrate stored in a cylindrical case and at least a bottom and an upper face of a case inner circumferential face, and disposing a terminal base at both ends of the substrate. CONSTITUTION:An insulation boards 40, 41 are interposed between an inverter putting on circuit element of a circuit substrate 8 stored in a cylindrical case 1 formed of lower and upper case members 3 and an inner face of the case. Terminal bases 9, 10 are arranged at both ends of the circuit board 8, a core 22 and a choke coil 18 of an inverter 21 are inserted in an insertion hole 20 of the circuit substrate 8. With the constitution, even if the circuit element and the inner face of the case 1 is closed to each other, the insulation distance therebetween is maintained, and the case 1 can be made flat and thin. Furthermore, since there is no need for forming openings for heat radiation, insulation error by intrusion of dusts can be prevented. |
