PURPOSE: To provide a good non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high conductivity with a high capacity property and without short-circuiting due to a cause of dendrite. CONSTITUTION: After a component, glasslikely carbonized or graphitized by burning, is applied to a surface on high conductive carbon powder, burning is performed at 500 to 3000 deg.C under the atmosphere of non-oxidation. In this way, a negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a non-aqueous electrolyte, constituted by a grain formed by providing a glasslikely carbonized graphitized layer in at least partly the surface of high conductive carbon powder to contain a lithium ion, is obtained. |
