PURPOSE: To provide a bathtub which hardly generates a crack at an internal angle part even when impact is applied on an external angle at the four corners of a flange edge, by forming the flange edge part all around the periphery of opening of this bathtub and thinning the thickness of external angle parts on the flange edge larger than the internal angle parts. CONSTITUTION: A flange edge 11 is constructed on the whole periphery of an opening of this bathtub 1 made of FRP in an almost rectangular shape by plan view, and thickness of external corner parts at four corners is thinned than that of internal corner parts 12. Thus, even if an external corner part is subjected to external impact, since the impact energy is absorbed by deformation to reduce the deformation at the internal corner part 13 where stress is concentrated, a crack is hardly generated at an internal corner 13 by buffering the external impact to an external corner part 12 at four corners of the flange edge 11. |
