<p>PURPOSE: To perform operations from picking objects to stacking without damaging them and stack the object neatly by picking an uppermost object in a supply magazine by mean of vacuum suction. CONSTITUTION: In the condition that conveyors 1a, 1b are at a standstill, a loading means 10 is operated, and a vacuum is sent selectively to suction pads 23 for magazines 4 of supply magazine devices 2a, 2b, and only objects ordered by individual retailers are picked from uppermost stages of different magazines and transferred onto the conveyors 1a, 1b at a standstill. The uppermost level of the magazines 4 is sensed always by a photo-sensor, and when an object 3 is picked, an elevation plate 16 rises immediately, and the next object 3 is brought to the uppermost stage. Therefore, there is no risk that the corners of the object 3 are crushed or damaged. The picked objects are stacked in lump by a stack magazine device for each retailer to ensure that shipment takes place easily.</p> |
