PURPOSE: To prevent the light intensity of respective scanning lines from being varied when plural laser beams are simultaneously used for a scanning action and to obtain uniform image density. CONSTITUTION: Plotting scanning is performed by respectively transmitting laser light generated by plural laser diodes 14A-14D by using optical fibers 11A-11D and projecting them to a scanning and reflecting mirror as the laser beam. The diodes 14A-14D of the respective optical fibers 11A-11D are constituted so that the rotating positions thereof in a direction around an axis can be individually adjusted. By adjusting them so that the mixing ratio of the S-polarized component and the P-polarized component of the laser beams become equal, the reflectivity of the laser beams from the respective optical fibers 11A-11D on the scanning and reflecting mirror can be made equal. Besides, the light intensity is uniformized and the plotting without density irregularities is realized. |
