发明名称 CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF CARBOXYLIC ESTER
摘要 PURPOSE: To continuously obtain a carboxylic ester while stably developing excellent reactivity of a catalyst containing palladium and lead for a long period by carrying out reaction of an aldehyde with an alcohol while adding a small amount of a lead-containing material. CONSTITUTION: An aldehyde is reacted with an alcohol using a catalyst containing palladium and lead in the presence of oxygen while suppressing a deterioration of the catalyst by carrying out the reaction while adding a small amount of lead-containing material to a reactor. At that time, a partial pressure of oxygen at outlet of the reactor is >=0.8kg/cm<3> . It is preferable that an amount of lead added be 0.1 to 2000ppm and that the reaction be carried out at a temperature of 30 deg.C to 100 deg.C, and a pressure of 1 to 20kg/cm<2> . The aldehyde and the alcohol are generally used in a molar ratio of 1/2 to 1/50.
