<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a sheet member from breaking by the fitting of a sheet member left in a carrying path and a changeover member in the case of poor conveyance, improve the difficulty in removing the pinched sheet, and prevent a rear cover of such a structure that the changeover member is installed thereon, from becoming incapable of opening because of its engagement by the pinched sheet. CONSTITUTION: A carrying mechanism for sheets is equipped with divergent carrying paths H2, H3 connected with an upstream carrying path H1 through a divergence part B1, and a stopper (locating means) to form a gap S1 in the area to a guide member 22 is furnished on a changeover member 10 which changes over the divergent carrying path in the neighborhood of the divergence part B1.</p> |
