Conveyor belt made of plastics modules

The modules have single central ribs (16,26) flanked by rows of fingers which are set inside rows of similar fingers of adjacent modules. The fingers are bored and threaded by joint pins to form a flexible belt. The ends of the modules are terminated in edge profiles (10,20) to form a smooth edge to the belt. The underside of the modules is provided with guide profiles by which the belt is aligned on the drive system. The spacing and length of the fingers are designed to form an interlinked mat for secure transport of small items.
