PURPOSE: To provide a KARAOKE machine constituted to facilitate the maintenance of programs. CONSTITUTION: This KARAOKE machine is provided with a built-in ROM 11, a ROM cartridge 14 and a HDD 15 as the memories to store the programs. A loader, etc., for down loading system programs (OS) and application programs are stored in this ROM cartridge 14. IPLs and the application programs are stored in the built-in ROM 11. The new application programs (new programs) are stored in the HDD 15. The new programs stored in the HDD 15 are down loaded from a host station via an ISDN controller 16. Namely, the application programs updated in version are downloaded online into the HDD 15, thereby, the rapid maintenance is made possible. |
