PURPOSE: To prevent facsimile information from being erased while undelivered by sending the facsimile information, which is not delivered yet when a request to release facsimile number allocation is made, to the transmission destination after releasing the allocation. CONSTITUTION: When there is the request to release the facsimile number allocation from a facsimile management device 6, a center device 7 releases the allocation of the sent-out facsimile number corresponding to an adapter code. When the undelivered facsimile information is stored in the mailbox M1 corresponding to the adapter code, the center device 7 checks whether or not the transmission destination of the facsimile information after checkout as a transmission destination is already reported through checkin operation from an adapter device 5 after allocation releasing together with the code of an adapter device 5, and calls the transmission destination of the facsimile information when the transmission destination is reported to send the information stored in the mailbox M1. The current time is stored as allocation release time while related to the reported adapter code. |
