PURPOSE: To prevent the overflow of gaseous ozone from a water tank of an upward open type housing ozonized water and to improve working environment by providing the top of the edge of the water tank with a frame-shaped cover and providing the cover with a suction fan for capturing the gaseous ozone evaporating from the water surface of the ozonized water and discharging the gaseous ozone outside. CONSTITUTION: The water tank 1 is opened upward in order to immerse cages 19 housing eggs 18 into the ozonized water 2 when this water tank is embodied in an egg sterilizing device. Then, the gaseous ozone evaporates from the water surface of the ozonized water 2. The gaseous ozone heavier in sp. gr. than the air is accumulated therein in the state of stagnating on the water surface. The accumulated gaseous ozone is blown in a direction D by an air feed fan 7, by which the gaseous ozone is moved along the cover 4 and is finally sent to a suction fan 8 side where the gaseous ozone is sucked by the suction fan 8 and is discharge outside via a discharge duct 9. As a result, the overflow of the gaseous ozone from the water tank 1 is prevented and the pollution of the ambient environment with the gaseous ozone is prevented. |
