PURPOSE: To permit image forming of high resolution securing a high density by a method wherein metallic atom containing particles and binder are contained in an image forming layer while the roughness of a surface contacting with the image forming layer of a supporting body is specified, in the image recording body, forming the image by removing an image forming layer. CONSTITUTION: Upon forming an image, an image forming material 3 is employed and the exposure of an image is effected from the side of supporting body 1 by a high density and high energy light. After a connecting force between the supporting body 1 and an image forming layer 2 is reduced, the image forming layer 2 is contacted with a bonding sheet 4 to effect heating and pressurizing treatment and transfer the exposed part of the image forming layer to the bonding sheet 4 whereby the image is formed. In this case, the image forming layer 2 is formed of a material containing metallic atom containing particles and binder while the roughness of a surface, contacted with the image forming layer 2 of the supporting body 1, which is measured by JIS-B-060, is specified so as to be 0.10μm or less. On the other hand, at least one treatment, selected from sand blast treatment, flame treatment, ozone treatment and the like, is applied on the surface of the supporting body 1. |
