PURPOSE: To provide a data entry device which can copy previously inputted field data irrelevantly to a difference in input field format. CONSTITUTION: The attribute of data which is inputted to a field is described by, for example, a program and the data is inputted to the field. When saving specification is included in the attribute, the field data after the data input is stored in a paste data part 6 and when the data is inputted to a specific field, reading/out to the field can be made by operating a copy key. The field data is inputted by specifying an attribute indicating whether or not the data is written to or read out of the paste data part 6, so field data can be copied between records and any fields in a record irrelevantly to the input format, and the efficiency of the data input is greatly improved. |
