PURPOSE: To prevent any energizing rotation of a ball screw shaft by means of axial external force, in this rectilinear working machinery by means of the ball screw shaft. CONSTITUTION: Any energized rotation of a ball screw shaft 32 due to axial external force is prevented by a pressing force receiving rotator 42 and a tensile force receiving rotator 43 being pressed to a pressing force stopper 52 and a tensile force stopper 51 housed in an outer cylinder of a housing and a coil spring 50 tightly wound on each peripheral surface of both the rotators 42 and 43.
