PURPOSE: To prevent the level of a shading extract output from being fluctuated by a way of occurrence of a defect by conducting median filter processing and sending a median in an area as data for median data. CONSTITUTION: Data detected from a CCD 1 are given to a picture memory 7 of a shading extract circuit 6 after ADD-conversion. The memory 7 conducts arithmetic operation to reduce the noise component included in the data RD with an accumulator 8 and stores the detected data. Thus, data S1 with a small noise component converted are outputted from the memory 7. The data S1 are given to a defect elimination filter 9. The filter 9 is made up of 1×5 median filter and provides an output of a median of data by consecutive 5 pixels in a line signal of the data S1 as median data S2. The output S2 are given to a buffer memory 10, which uses the accumulator 8 to suppress the noise component furthermore through synchronization addition and provides an output of a shading extract output S3. |
