PURPOSE: To set a refrigerating compartment, a vegetable compartment and a freezing compartment in an optimum operation range and enhance operability by setting the height from a floor surface, on which a refrigerator is placed up to the upper end of a refrigerating compartment and the height of the upper end of a drawer door of a vegetable compartment and the upper end of a drawer door of a freezing compartment from the floor surface to a specific range respectively. CONSTITUTION: The height H1 of a refrigerating compartment 100 from the floor surface F, on which a refrigerator 1 is placed, up to the upper end of the refrigerating compartment 100, the height H2 up to the upper end of a side out door 20 of a vegetable compartment 200, the height H3 up to the upper end of a drawer door 30 of an upper freezing compartment 300 and the height H4 up to the upper end of a drawer door 40 of a lower freezing compartment 400 are set in the range of H1<=1800mm and H2<=1000mm and H3>=630mm and H4>=350mm. This construction makes it possible to lay out the refrigerating compartment 100 and the vegetable compartment 200 and the freezing compartments 300 and 400 in conformity with service frequency and in the optimum operation area of each posture in the structure of a door proper to a standing posture and a bending posture and a squatting posture of a user, and hence the operability is improved. |
