<p>PURPOSE: To provide an evaluation device/method for a digital controller to quickly retrieve the influence of the abnormality of the digital controller in a control device and a plant and also to offer the influence evaluation result to an operator. CONSTITUTION: An evaluation device 18 of a digital controller consists of an arithmetic contents storage device 20 which stores the control arithmetic contents of the digital controller in a plant, a transmission line storage device 21 which stores the input/output signals of the digital controller and the signal transmission line, a digital controller simulation device 19 which simulates the control arithmetic contents of the digital controller based on the stored arithmetic contents and retrieves the information on the input/output signals and the transmission line, a display device 22 which displays the retrieval results of the device 19, a keyboard 23 which controls the display of the device 22, and an optical multiplex transmission device 24 which performs communication of the abnormality information, etc.</p> |
