PURPOSE: To obtain a load meter by which a load can be measured easily and safely at a distance from an object to be measured, by using a telemeter which transmits a load signal output as radio waves. CONSTITUTION: A strain gage-type measuring bridge 13 as a strain detection means is pasted on the central part of a suspension metal fitting 5. For example, when the load of baggage is to be measured, the upper hole of the metal fitting 5 is hung on the hook of a ceiling, and the baggage is suspended from the lower hole via a suspension rope. Then, a strain which corresponds to the load of the baggage is generated at the metal fitting 5. The strain is detected by the measuring bridge 13 so as to be sent to an amplifier 14. The amplifier 13 amplifies an input, and a load signal which corresponds to the load is sent to a telemeter device 16. The telemeter device 16 outputs the input from an antenna 4 as radio waves. A telemeter reception device 21 receives the radio waves by an antenna 9, and the load signal is sent to a display 10. The display 10 displays an input. In addition, when a load exceeds the maximum limit load of the metal fitting 5, a warning is issued from an overload alarm 8. |
