PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle capable of retaining energy with high performance while being excellent in operability in a cordless motor-driven grip type polishing machine without using a power line. SOLUTION: This cordless motor-driven grip-type polishing machine comprises a longitudinal member of almost rectangular solid shape designed as a handle for accommodating an energy retaining part, with the front end connected to a connecting part 2 and a support part 3, and a member for supporting a motor-driven polishing member 4. The longitudinal edge parts 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d of the longitudinal member 1 are rounded off at the corners and finished in round shape so as to meet the outline of the energy retaining part. The planes 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d of the longitudinal member 1 are bent inward. The longitudinal member 1 is, on one hand, formed in such a size that an inner chamber formed by the planes of the longitudinal member becomes a container of two or more energy retaining parts and on the other hand, formed into a human engineering handle to operate the grip type polishing machine by forming the longitudinal member 1 in such a shape. |
