PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile communication equipment which can eliminate the need for a pager. CONSTITUTION: This facsimile communication equipment is equipped with a facsimile reception information device 11 which is connected to a public telephone line 3 through a private branch exchange 2 and informs an adapter device 5 connected to the corresponding extension of the reception of facsimile information by a center device 7 when called by the center device 7 and receiving the information of the reception of the facsimile information addressed to the facsimile equipment corresponding to the specific extension. The adapter device 5 once informed of the reception of the facsimile information by the facsimile reception information device 11 calls the center device 7 to send discrimination information on its device and connects the facsimile equipment 4 connected to its device to the center device 7 by the line to receive the facsimile information. |
