PURPOSE: To form an anti-electrostatic package of an electrostatic sensitive component by sealing with ultrasonic wave an upper layer and a lower layer made of metallic vapor deposited plastic having electro-conductivity. CONSTITUTION: A foam member 16 is arranged between a lower layer 12 and an upper layer 14 made of metallic vapor deposited plastic such as a metallic vapor deposited polyester sheet or the like to constitute a packaging member and then an electrostatic sensitive component 18 is fixed to a foam member 16. Then, a sealing die 24 is applied over a center of the component 18. Layers 12, 14 and an intermediate foam layer 16 between these layers are pressed together, sealed with ultrasonic wave to form a seal section 20. Then, it is cut along a cutting line arranged at the seal section 20, thereby a package member formed with an extending section 32 having a dome-shape is attained. With such an arrangement as above, an anti-electrostatic packaging member having a Faraday cage formed around the component for preventing static electricity from reaching the component. |
