Adjustable holder system for vidicon tube in TV camera - uses concentric clamp which permits adjustment of tube and filter and is held by screws

A support is used for Vidicon TV camera tubes. It has a tubular holder for the deflection and focussing coils in which the tube is held. The tubular support (3, 5) has a concentric annular component (22) at its front end between which and an annular concentric axially adjustable clamp (24) at the signal target ring of the tube (2) can be held. The clamp (24) can also be provided with a holder for a filter. The arrangement facilities adjustment, and enables the inclusion of a filter to adapt the tube to operate as a colour tube. Screws are used to hold the adjustable clamp in position.
