The head contact (2.1) of the fuse link (2) is in contact with a contact sleeve (9). The strip-like arms (9.1, 9.2) of the sleeve surrounding the fuse link (2) have hooks (9.3, 9.4) which grip a contact strip (30) when the sleeve (9) is rotated about its axis. The contact sleeve (9) and the fuse line (2) are moved axially. The movement is transmitted to a switching lever (31) whose contact (31.1) moves towards the corresponding opposite contact (33.1) of the contact bar (33), thus closing the circuit. Spring (32) resistance is overcome, which provides the necessary pressure for all contact points.
