<p>PURPOSE: To improve the operability in a manufacturing process by automatically starting a program for direct operation in the manufacturing process based on the data in a non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION: A main processing device 5 adds a signal for adjusting tracking error to the reference voltage of a differential amplifier 26 via a D/A converter 10 and reads a tracking error signal outputted from a received light processing circuit 21 and an output signal of the differential amplifier 26 via an A/D converter 32. Then, the gain of an AT gain electronic volume 9 is varied so that the amplitude of the two signals is within a prescribed value. The device 5 stores control data equivalent to the gain of the volume 9 when the amplitude reaches a prescribed value at a prescribed address of an EPROM 7. In this manner, an already adjusted device automatically starts a program for direct operation without starting adjustment operation by confirming 'OK' code at an address 0 of the EEPROM 7 when the power is turned on again.</p> |
