<p>PURPOSE: To reduce any noises out of low and high frequencies upon pressing the outer boundary central part and both the ends of a disk pad by forming a pressing surface to press this disk pad by means of a conical surface made up with the turning shaft of a disk rotor as the center. CONSTITUTION: When a brake operating member of a vehicle is operated, brake hydraulic pressure is induced into a pressure chamber 3c from a master cylinder, and a piston 4 is shifted to the left, whereby an inner disk pad 5 is pressed toward a disk rotor via a shim plate 9. On the other hand, a cylinder body 3 is shifted to the right by dint of the hydraulic pressure taken into the pressure car 3c, while an outer disk pad 6 is pressed toward the disk rotor via a shim plate 8 by means of a rear cushion part 3d of the cylinder body 3. At that time, since a pressing surface to press the outer disk pad 6 is formed by a conical surface made up with the turning shaft of the disk rotor as the center, any brake noises are thus reducible.</p> |
