PURPOSE: To perform a high speed image recording on both surface of a recording paper by a method wherein for a recording device with two recording parts, when an image is recorded on both surfaces of a recording paper, after the recording paper is fed to a first recording paper, and image information is recorded on one surface, the recording paper is carried to a second recording part, and image information is recorded on the other surface. CONSTITUTION: When image information is recorded on both surfaces of a recording paper, a first feeding roller 32 is turned, and the recordng paper in a paper feeding cassette 30a is fed out, and an image recording is performed by a first recording head while the recording paper is being fed by a first electrostatic attraction belt mechanism 20 in a first recording part 4. Then, a pair of carrying rollers 441 are rotated, and an image recording is performed on the other surface by a second recording head 14 while the recording paper is being fed by a second electrostatic attraction belt mechanism 24 in a second recording part 6. The recording paper on both surfaces of which the images have been recorded in this manner is carried through a discharging passage 46, and is discharged on a discharging tray 50 by a pair of discharging rollers 48. |
