METHOD FOR ANALYZING OPERATION OF PARALLEL DATABASE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To detect the abnormalities of the processing time related to the information transfer between processors and the processing time related to the database access processing within each processor by performing the operation analysis of a parallel data system. CONSTITUTION: A history information acquiring part 33 to be stored in each processor 30 composing a parallel database system samples the history information on the processing request time to be delivered to the database access processing part 32 of an other processor 30 from a database access control part 31 and the starting time and terminating time of the processing that a database access processing part 32 performs. The history information collecting part 41 of a processor 140 collects these history information, sorts the information for time and stores the cumulative history information in an area 45. A parallel operation evaluation part 42 calculates processing time between processors and processing time within the processor from this history information, compares the times with the stipulated time to be stored in each area 43, 44 and detects abnormality operation time.
