<p>PURPOSE: To provide a sheet feeding device unlikely to generate misfeeding without dropping the through-put. CONSTITUTION: Operating speeds of a sheet feed roller 113 and transport roller 115 are changed appropriately by a CPU 10. as applicable. The operating speed of the feed roller 113 is put in low level by the CPU 10 only at the time of sheet feed by the roller 113, and otherwise the rollers 113 and 115 are put in the high speed operation by the CPU 10, so that the sheet feed is conducted certainly without misoperation, and sheet transport is performed quickly with a specified through-put. When a sensor 120 mounted in the specified position on the transport path 111 senses a sheet, the CPU 10 controls the operating speed of a roller 115 into a low level in conformity to a given signal, and the sheet transport speed by the roller 115 is regulated so as to suit the sheet moving speed in the later stage.</p> |
