<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate a short pipe from damaged and surely connect a joint metal to a hose by setting the curvature radii of contact faces of pressurizing pieces with the short pipe to the same as or larger than the curvature radius of the outer face of the short pipe before contraction and pressurizing it by shifting the pressurizing point by the pressurizing pieces in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION: The end of a hose 1 is fitted around the outside of a connection cylinder 3 of a joint metal, a short pipe 4 is fitted around the outside of the hose 1, and the metal fitting having a plurality of pressurizing pieces arranged at same intervals is arranged in its outside so that the short pipe 4 is contracted by being pressurized by the pressurizing pieces 5. The curvature radii of contact faces 11 of respective pressurizing pieces in relation to the short pipe 4 are set to the same as the curvature radius of the outer face of the short pipe 4 before contraction or a little bit larger than that. The pressurizing pieces 5 strongly pressurize the short pipe 4 toward the center in the central part of the contact face 11 so that the circumferential compaction force is applied on the short pipe 4. Secondarily, the short pipe 4 is pressurized again at the position where the pressurizing pieces 5 are circumferentially rotated.</p> |
