At this time, if input torque Tin exceeds a threshold value Tih, a deviation in the gear ratio detected by a deviation detecting means 202 is learned by a learning control means 210, compensating the gear ratio of a gear ratio altering means 201, and thus any deviation in the gear ratio due to secular deterioration or the like is solvable. If a threshold value Tth is set in an input torque area where a variation in the gear ratio becomes minuteness in relation to the change of the input torque, a learning map having set the gear ratio alone to a parameter is usable, and a storage means storing this map is made into the promotion of low capacity, therefore control processing speed is thus improvable.
