PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized gear driving device with simple constitution by providing a 1st spur gear capable of moving in an axial direction and a 2nd spur gear meshing with the 1st spur gear in a state where its turning shaft is inclined at a specified angle to the turning shaft of the 1st spur gear. CONSTITUTION: A lens mirror frame driving gear 12 is disposed so that the other end side of its center axis 12c is inclined downward to the center axis A of a camera by an angleθ. Then, the spur gear part 12a is formed covering from the other end side (camera front surface side) of the gear 12 to a middle part. A lens mirror frame spur gear part 6a is formed at the rear end of a lens mirror frame 6. The gear part 6a is meshed with the rear end of the spur gear part 12a of the gear 12 when the lens mirror frame 6 is at a collapsing position, and it is meshed with the front end of the gear part 12a in the case the frame 6 is moved to a photographing position. The gear 12 is disposed to be inclined, thereby preventing the disposition of a plunger 7 and a mask member 9 from being hindered.
