PURPOSE: To make it possible to evaluate generally and objectively trainee's degree of skill by recording the items and operating condition of training contents and the information to convert the motion state of a training machine into characters according to frame addresses. CONSTITUTION: An image compositing device 5 composites the images of the minmic field range of view from a mimic field range of view generator 3 together with the videos from a video camera 4 at the prescribed position of one screen. The videos composited by the video compositing device 5 are recorded on the prescribed frame address. The frame addresses are retrieved by the items or the operating state of the training contents or the information to convert the motion state of the training machine into the characters in order to reproduce the recorded and composited images for evaluating the training. The recorded and composited images are reproduced by starting from the retrieved frame address. Then, the training states including the character videos are displayed only by the reproduction of the composited images. The numerical values of the operating state appearing in these character displays are evaluated as the trainee's action reaction and action to deal with the situation. The overall and objective evaluation of the trainee's degree of skill is thus made possible.
