PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specially determine a shape for a correction waveform, to stably generate it and to strictly decide a timing by generating sawtooth-shaped signals provided with a prescribed phase to horizontal fly-back pulses and performing coupling for supplying a corrective deflecting current. SOLUTION: A pulse PC is generated preceding a clipped horizontal fly-back pulse Hzc for about 4 microseconds and coupled so as to reset a second lump generator 600. A lump or sawtooth generator generates the sawtooth-shaped signals which are initial or advanced in a horizontal direction for oblique and upper/lower trapezoidal shape correction. Then, the initial sawtooth signals are further coupled to a multiplier U2 and modulated by vertical sheet sawtooth signals so as to generate output signals for the correction of trapezoidal shape distortion. Further, output from the multiplier U2 is coupled to auxiliary deflection amplifiers 505, 525 and 545 for generating the current of the correction required for respective auxiliary deflection coils RVC, GVC and BVC. |
