PURPOSE: To prevent breakdown caused by thermal stress and to use the lead safely for a long period in the current lead using an oxide superconductor for the lead on the side of low temperature. CONSTITUTION: In the lead on the side of a low temperature, wherein a low- temperature side conductor 13A made of an oxide superconductor is contained an outer tube 14, and coated by flows of low-temperature helium gas, a plurality of slits 18 and 19 extending in the longitudinal direction are provided at both end parts of the cylindrical low-temperature side conductor 13A and inserted into the recess parts of an intermediate connecting body 15A comprising an excellent conducting metal connected to a high-temperature side conductor 11 and a low-temperature terminal 14A comprising also the excellent conducting metal and connected. |
