FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves fastening block ends in retaining device provided with one or two conical heads for sequential impregnation of block from two opposite ends. When one conical head is used, successive supplying of dye is provided by rotating the block, when two conical heads are used, dye is repeatedly supplied upon termination of supplying dye from the first end. Conical pneumatic members are adapted to clamp block ends in conical heads by pressure of 4-5 atm. Dye is prepared in two stages. At the first stage concentrate is obtained in container filled with water heated to at least 95 C. Dye is used in the ratio of 2.5-5 g per 1 l of water. At the second stage concentrate is pumped into working vessel with water temperature ranging from 60 to 70 C and ready dye is obtained. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method, enhanced reliability and improved quality of impregnated wood. 33 cl, 11 dwg, 1 tbl |
