PROCESS ON DETERMINATION OF MECHANICAL LOSSES IN TYRE ON TEST BED

FIELD: testing of wheels of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: invention is related specifically to testing of wheels with pneumatic tyres. Test of system "roller bed - wheel" is conducted in two stages. At first stage losses are determined in mentioned system with the use of non-deformed analog in the capacity of wheel. At second stage losses are found in system when it is rotated with tested wheel. Losses in tyre at second and first stages are determined by difference of results of tests. During traditional determination of wheel capacity on roller bed relative mechanical bosses in bed are presented by constant coefficient which does not take into account geometric dimensions of tested wheel and bed and technical state of the latter. Proposed process makes it possible to get rid of these drawbacks. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and timeliness of determination of mechanical losses in tyre.
