FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of eyeglasses with color filters. The patient is asked questions about 9 groups of anagliths seen from a distance of 5 m. The anagliths decrease in size in accordance with the conventional acuity of vision scale from 0.08 to 1.0, and the least size of binocularly detectable anagliths provides a measure of the binocular vision depth. EFFECT: more accurate quantitative evaluation of binocular cooperation; more accurate determination of clinical treatment of binocular vision disorders.
