FIELD: transport engineering; railway transport; seats for service compartments. SUBSTANCE: seat has bracket 1, backrest and cushion frames hinge-connected with bracket, spring-loaded crank 7 mounted on axle 15 of bracket 1 and connected through journal 16 with backrest frame slot 17 to return the backrest in initial position. Novelty in design of seat is that L-shaped crank 7 is made integral with cushion frame 3 for shifting cushion and backrest to bracket 1. The latter has lower horizontal wall yoke 8 and upper vertical wall yoke 9 connected by welding. Ends of yoke 9 are fastened in plane of bridge of lower yoke 8 whose cheeks are rigidly connected with axle 15 at the front and hinge connected from the bottom by means of carrier 5 with folding leg 4 of cushion to from parallelogram mechanism.
