Use of selective medium ensures to isolate at least 76% active strains showing persistence property. Medium can be used for differential diagnosis, in bacteriological investigations and for early detection of persisting escherichia cells both in organism and in environment. EFFECT: new nutrient medium indicated above, enhanced effectiveness of medium.
