The heavy monobloc lock (1) for anchoring an aircraft seat foot in a sectioned slide fixed to the floor comprises a longitudinal web plate (8). Transversely on a longitudinal edge, the web plate has longitudinal spaced pairs of oppositely positioned runners (13). These runners project laterally and their faces (14) constitute support surfaces which engage in the slide. A first transversely projecting part (16) of the web plate is fixed rigidly to the foot. A second part enables rigid but removable fixing to a locking flange (5). A third part in the shape of a swivel pin, with a transverse axis, takes a longitudinal locking plunger (6). The first projecting part is in the middle of the web plate between the second part which is to the rear and the third part at the front.
