摘要 FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to bearing making industry and can be used predominantly to test ball bearing in processes of their manufacture and diagnostics. It is proposed to measure contact angles of ball bearings by means of vibration signals generated by ball bearing under load. Spectrum of vibration of all elements of bearing is measured, vibration signals are digitized and converted to digital form, components of vibration spectrum are determined in specified frequency ranges. Signals are entered into working buffer. Vibration signal is subjected to fast Fourier transform and rotational speeds of rotor and separator with balls relative to outer and inner races and about own axis of ball are found. Contact angle is determined then as function of parameters of frequencies of parts of bearing. Gear to implement proposed method has vibration converter 1 mounted on tested bearing put on rotating rotor. Amplifier-corrector 2, filter 3, vibration signal preparation unit and analog-to-digital converter 4, Fourier transform converter 5, detector 6 of rotational speed $$$ of outer race, detector 7 of rotational speed $$$ of inner race detector 8 of rotational speed $$$ of set of balls with reference to outer race, unit 9 determining rotational speed $$$ of ball relative to own axis, unit 10 calculating contact angle $$$, unit 11 calculating relation of diameters $$$, computer 12 with display 13 and printer 14 are connected in series to its output.
