FIELD: rowing. SUBSTANCE: turning moment acting on oar is caused by unbalance of oar relative to point of support and may be considerably compensated for by spring connecting the oar handle with hull. This is innovation of invention. Oscillations of spring may be used for obtaining useful force on oar blades, especially if they have profile of wing in section. Thus, the second specific feature of oar is profile of blade together with spring maintaining oscillatory motion of blade. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. |
