Here is described a vehicle's non-drive wheels driving transmissionhaving high conveyance per gear, low noise level, and being simple in production. The transmission (fig.1) consists of spur gear-wheels where a drive gear with inclined teeth engages into a mesh with a driven spur pinion making a cross-shaped transmission. The axis of the transmission forms an acute angle which is equal to the tooth inclination difference of the gears (driving and driven). Such a cross meshed pair of gears has more simultaneously engaged teeth than a conventional pair of spur gear-wheels. At the areas of tooth contact, in addition to the rolling movement, longitudinal slipping takes place simultaneously, which improves the lubricating and running conditions. The transmission may be used for driving from a single motor both single axle and multi axle trucks.
