The invention refers to machinery construction. It is intended for use in compressors, pumps and internal-combustion engines with the purpose of increasing the multiplexing safety of a plunger-cylinder pair.The purpose of the invention is the simplification of the multiplexing design of the construction, and to increase its hermetic qualities.The proposed device consists of a plunger (1), a cylinder (2), a non-split spring-ring (3), placed in an annular groove (4) and a side support ring (5). The spring-ring is conically truncated off the external surface of the hollow toroid. The cone's apex is directed towards the surface of the plunger end, besides the external diameter of ring (3) is bigger than average diameter of the toroid, but the annular groove (4) is made as an ellipsoid. The centre of the semicircle of the bottom of the annular groove (4), in the abovementioned ellipsoid, is moved off the plunger's (1) vertical symmetry axis by value L > H, where H is the width of the groove (4), which is equal to diameter T of toroid hollow part. Yet the second centre of the semi-circle coincides with the symmetry axis centre of the plunger (1), moreover the distance from the plunger's bottom to the annular groove's (4) top is S < H. The number of grooves (4) and the spring-rings located in them is greater than 1, moreover the diameter of the plunger's (1) bottom is equal to the diameter of the gap between the adjacent grooves (4).
